AFR 150 - Vocal Technique

An invigorating vocal workout class for singers: This weekly course provides students with a progressive series of vocal exercises to condition, develop and strengthen their voices. Aspects of vocal production will be practiced including: body alignment, breath management, support, range, balancing vocal registers, vowel formation, tone quality, resonance, intonation, flexibility, coordination, vocal health and maintenance. This course will provide invaluable tools for both beginning and advanced singers who wish to improve their overall vocal technique and maintain their vocal health. One hour weekly.
Prerequisite(s): Open to jazz majors or permission of instructor.
