CH 550 - Inorganic Structure and Bonding

Topics in advanced inorganic chemistry, such as atomic and molecular term states, valence-bond and molecular orbital theories of chemical bonding, molecular geometry, the hydrogen bond, crystal structure, coordination compounds, and ligand field theory. Extensive use of current literature will be required.
Prerequisite(s): CH 348.
