AUD 382 - Principles of Media Recording


3 credit(s)
This course stresses the set-up, use and maintenance and of media recording systems. Analog and digital storage systems are studied, as well as transmission protocols and the operation and repair of tape recorders. The Musical Information Digital Interface (MIDI) and the Multichannel Audio Digital Interface are studied in addition to data error checking systems.
Prerequisite(s): AUD 362 , MTH 241 , and either ECT 232  or ECT 122 .
