MED 307 - School Choral Program: PK-8


3 credit(s)
In this course, students develop competencies related to choral music education in PK-8 schools. Students build an understanding of the voice, discussing anatomy, the phonation process, tone, and voice change through adolescence. Students discover how to create and implement a sequential curriculum, how to plan and execute an effective choral rehearsal, and what resources are currently available to choral music educators.
Prerequisite(s): MED 110  and MEA 100 .
Laboratory fee.
