ACT 481 - Independent Study in Actuarial Science


3 credit(s)
This course is to give students credit for preparing for and taking a professional actuarial exam during the semester that students are registered for this independent study. If a student does not pass the exam, that student will be required to select a specialized topic in the actuarial field, conduct research and write a report. The topic(s)/project(s) selected requires approval by the instructor. Course may not be repeated for additional credits.
Prerequisite(s): Permission of instructor and department chair.
