DFA 272 - Musicianship for Dancers

Exploration of the relationship of music and dance. The elements of music reinforced from a dance perspective. The elements of dance examined in the context of music theory. Communication and collaboration of musicians and dancers. Expanded consideration of musicality in the work of the dancer and dance teacher.
Prerequisite(s): Dance performance or ballet pedagogy majors only.
