MAB 210 - Introduction to Statistics


3 credit(s)
This course is designed to introduce the basic concepts of probability, random sampling, data organization, measures of central tendency and variability, binomial and normal probability distributions, statistical inference, elements of hypothesis testing, one- and two- sample/s testing for means and proportions, chi-square tests for tabular data, and simple and multiple linear regression and correlation. TI-83/84/84+ calculator is required.
Prerequisite(s): C- or better in MAB 111  or MAB 113  or permission of the instructor.
