NUR 102 - Pre-Nursing Seminar II

This course continues to guide students in the traditional BSN program during their science and liberal arts education course work. A mentorship model is employed to provide advising and support for the student as they become socialized to their role as a nursing student. Expansion of topics from NUR 101 will be offered with new topics to include an introduction to the TEAS/HESI achievement testing, the NCLEX licensing exam, basic drug calculations and expectations of clinical work. This course will meet face-to-face every other week during the semester with small group Blackboard discussions on the alternate weeks.
Prerequisite(s): NUR 101 .
