CMM 467 - Student Firms: The Studio


3 credit(s)
This course functions as a TV Studio where students learn the technical aspects of multi-camera television production, and write program proposals, treatments and scripts for various formats of television studio production. Students produce and direct a studio production, and learn all crew positions including audio, teleprompter, technical director, assistant director, videotape, floor manager, character generator operator and camera crew. Final projects are featured in a bi-yearly showcase and University media outlets such as STN.
Prerequisite(s): CMM 214 , CMM 244 , and junior or senior standing or permission of instructor.
Laboratory fee.
