MSF 430 - Montessori Practicum

Montessori educator in this practicum have the the opportunity for students to practice Montessori pedagogy with children in a Montessori classroom setting, under the supervision of a qualified Montessori teacher. Students are able to apply the skills and provide lessons acquired throughout the course. The practicum offers an opportunity to practice the various professional and personal skills that a Montessori teacher uses. In addition, the course engages the student in preparation of a comprehensive portfolio of lesson plans and resources for use in the Montessori elementary classroom and can therefore use these resources during the practicum.
