CER 350 - Advanced Throwing

This course will focus on complex wheel-thrown forms. These will include lidded forms, teapots with thrown, pulled, slab-made and mold-made spouts and handles, compound forms made from multiple parts, and plates thrown on plaster molds. Other investigations will include sets and altered thrown forms. Course content will be supported by slide presentations, visiting artists and field trips.
Prerequisite(s): CER 222.
