Geometric design control and criteria; roadway vehicle performance; classification of highways; sight distance; design of horizontal and vertical alignments of highway and urban streets; cross-section elements and superelevation calculations; pavement design, and roundabout design;. Use of computer design software; and hands-on highway design experience.
Prerequisite(s): CE 250 .
