CE 464 - Civil Engineering Design Project I

Team approach to the development of an engineering project proposal. Students will work in teams to define the project, identify a design and analysis strategy, and develop a proposal for a civil engineering design problem posed by local engineering practitioners or faculty. Project management and the engineering project life cycle will be covered including proposal stage, analysis and design, and the final written report and design documents stage. Students will develop a professional quality proposal document and presentation.
Prerequisite(s): CE 312, CE 320, CE 330, and senior standing in the department.
