PSY 384P - Psychology Student Internship


3 credit(s) High Impact Practice: Internship
This course provides supervised work experience for qualified psychology majors. The agencies where students complete internships may include, but are not limited to, non-profits, social service agencies, alcohol and drug treatment programs, community mental health clinics and hospitals, schools for children with disabilities, human resource departments, probation courts, and criminal justice centers. Students may complete more than one internship for credit, although only one will apply toward the major requirements. Graded on a Pass/No Pass basis.
Prerequisite(s): GPA of at least 2.75, both overall and in psychology; three psychology courses above the introductory level with 60+ credits (5 courses with 90+ credits); and permission of instructor.
