PROT 511 - Group Dynamics in Diverse Context

This course focuses on the theory of group dynamics that includes communication, group process, group development, leadership styles, and group roles and norms. Students will learn the appropriate techniques and intervention to promote insight and improved interpersonal interaction skills for groups in diverse cultures. Through hands-on experiences, students will learn how to design, participate in (as leader and group member), and run occupation-based groups.
Prerequisite(s): PROT 504 .
