INT 750 - Art History Research Methods

This art history course is organized around a single theme. In this course students develop research and writing skills, producing an academic research paper. The goal of this course is to train artists to contribute to the intellectual discourse of their area of engagement. Approaches may include academic art history research including the use of archives, oral history, ethnographic methodologies, scientific research and arts-based research methodologies.
Prerequisite(s): Matriculation in the MFA Interdisciplinary Art program.
