ARC 537 - Vertical Architecture Studio

This design studio explores the architectural process, concepts, theories, precedence and analysis for Master of Architecture students. Using a series of design exercises, sketching, model building and visual representation, students explore architectural design and develop their individual design and presentation skills. Problems are intended to broaden and deepen individual understanding of the process, theories, and systems that influence the design of the built environment. This studio satisfies the requirements for  ARC 511 - Architectural Studio I  and ARC 521 - Architectural Studio II  through appropriate content and assignments specific to the level of each student.
Prerequisite(s): Matriculation in the Master of Architecture program, or permission of the program director.
Laboratory fee.
