DPT 535 - Integrated Clinical Experience

This course is designed to provide physical therapy students with practical application of principles and techniques learned during the academic portion of the semester and a greater appreciation for the field of Physical Therapy. This course also continues to facilitate the development, measurement, and assessment of professionalism. Students participate in weekly clinical visits at a local outpatient or inpatient setting. Students will gain experience in their selected setting to improve readiness for upcoming clinical education. Students are expected to demonstrate professional behaviors in all interactions with patients, clients, families, caregivers, and other health professionals.
Prerequisite(s): Physical therapy major, DPT 1 status, and DPT 516.
Laboratory fee.
