NUR 656 - Applied Evidence-Based Nursing

This course focuses on the principles and practice of implementing evidence-based nursing interventions. The students will actively utilize essential mechanisms of vision, engagement, integration and evaluation in implementing their evidence-based project proposals developed in NUR 619 . Data analysis, conclusions and recommendations post intervention will be developed into scientific posters and abstracts. Ethical considerations for implementing evidence-based interventions are also provided in this course. Practice experience hours including direct hours in the community under study is expected.
Prerequisite(s): NUR 619 .
