General Education Requirements (A&S)


In addition to major requirements, students must meet the General Education Requirements that correlate to their degree.

Major GPA and Grade Requirements


Students must maintain a minimum grade point average of 2.0 in courses required to complete the major. All courses required for the major must be taken for a letter grade.

Required credits: 32


Core and Capstone Course (20 credits)


Electives (12 credits)


Upper-level Spanish courses and/or ML courses and/or approved cognate courses (preferably with a FLAC component) and/or approved study abroad courses.

Students may petition to include other relevant courses not included in the above list of cognate courses if they meet the approval of their academic advisor. Every effort is made to have the cognate courses participate with a FLAC component.

Cognate courses may have specific prerequisites that must be met before they can be taken. Students should take these prerequisites as part of their general education requirements or general electives.
