Majors select one area of emphasis: Digital Media Production, Journalism and Sports Media, or Media
Studies.

18 credits of elective coursework is required.
Students take 12 to 18 credits in the selected emphasis area.
Students must complete a minimum of 6 credits of courses at the 300 or 400 level in the selected emphasis to demonstrate some depth in the area.
Up to 6 credits can be taken in the other emphases.
