Computer Science, B.S.

The Bachelor of Science in Computer Science is designed to prepare students for a career in the computer profession, business, or education. It provides students with a solid foundation in both theoretical and applied computer science while also allowing them to explore other areas of interest. The B.S. degree is recommended for students planning to pursue graduate school.

General Education Requirements (A&S)


In addition to major requirements, students must meet the General Education Requirements that correlate to their degree.

Major GPA and Grade Requirements


All required courses (including elective and application requirements for a major) must be completed with a minimum overall average of 2.25. Each of these courses must be taken for a letter grade and may not be taken on a Pass/No Pass basis.
