Minor GPA and Grade Requirements

Students must maintain a minimum grade point average of 2.0 in courses required to complete the minor. All courses required for the minor must be taken for a letter grade.

Additional Information:

Faculty advisors will provide students with course recommendations for the minor that reflect individual educational and career objectives.

All courses applied to the minor must be taken for a letter grade with a minimum grade point average of 2.0. Among the additional credits in sociology, students must take at least two courses at the foundation or advanced level. Consult Sociology, B.A. for a list of acceptable foundation and advanced level courses. Students must formally declare the minor by completing a Change of Major form.
