EDT 670 - Technology and Educational Reform

This course explores ways to use technology to bring about significant change in the educational process. Basic issues to be reviewed are those that have led to the need for innovation in education, the process of implementing of technology in education, changes in student attitudes and needs, changes in the worldview, and changes in the purposes and meaning of “education.” Concrete examples are explored of how technology can assist in enhancing the learning process for both teachers and students.
Prerequisite(s): EDT 610 .
