Planning of urban and rural transportation systems, analysis of highway capacity and alignments, design of the horizontal and vertical alignments of roads and highways. Design and analysis of traffic control systems. Airport design. Issues in transportation safety and freight transportation. Laboratory applications of specialized computer software; design and analysis projects.
Prerequisite(s): CE 250 .
