CER 222 - Introductory Ceramics II


3 credit(s)
Advanced methods in handbuilding and wheelthrowing. More complex technical problems are examined, including throwing of large forms, functional pottery, and handbuilt sculpture. Students also deal with individual problems with emphasis on developing a personal approach to material and process. Basic clay and glaze chemistry is discussed.
Prerequisite(s): CER 220 .
