A consideration of the substantive and procedural principles of criminal law. An introduction to the arrest, pretrial, trial, and posttrial practices. Examination of the operation of the criminal courts, public defender and prosecutor offices.
Prerequisite(s): LAH 201  and LAH 250  (minimum grade of C required in each of these courses).
