HLM 662 - Seminar on the Music of J. S. Bach

An in-depth study of selected portions of Bach’s oeuvre. A class project focuses on one group of works, such as the Clavieruebung or the chorale cantatas; individual projects concentrate on the performance, analysis, and historical context of a single work.
Prerequisite(s): HLM 610 or permission of instructor.
