PSY 539 - Performance Evaluation and Management

This course provides an overview of performance evaluation and the performance management process within the workplace. The emphasis is on understanding the components of a good performance management system, and how to use the system to enhance employee performance. The course will focus on how to correctly define and measure performance, how to design a performance appraisal system, and how to train raters on the proper use of the system.
Prerequisite(s): Matriculation into a psychology graduate program, or permission of the MSOP program director.
