TH 131 - Music Theory and Ear Training for Dancers II

The second course in music theory and ear training for students in B.F.A. in dance. Continuation of instruction in the fundamentals of music theory and sight singing. Notation of rhythm and pitch. Construction and identification of intervals, scales, and triads. Emphasis on rhythmic-metric patterns used in dance. Three hours weekly.
Prerequisite(s): TH 130 .
