CS 455 - System Programming


3 credit(s)
This course is an introduction to system-level programming with an emphasis on C programming using function pointers, variable argument lists, and other generic programming techniques. Topics include build systems, debugging techniques and process management. Other topics include streams, buffers and pipes, system calls, multi-threading, and libraries for system programming.
Prerequisite(s): CS 211  or  ECE 332 , and CS 220P .
Laboratory fee.
