NUR 101 - Pre-Nursing Seminar I

This course guides students in the traditional BSN program during their science and liberal arts education course work. A mentorship model is employed to provide advising and support for the student as they become socialized to their role as a nursing student. Students are also introduced to the history of nursing, the nurse’s role in the health care system, and career paths. This course will meet face-to-face every other week during the semester with small group Blackboard discussions on the alternate weeks.
Prerequisite(s): Acceptance in the BSN program.
