M 382 - Technology for Teaching Math

This course introduces mathematics secondary education majors to different technologies for teaching concepts in the 7 - 12 mathematics curriculum. The focus is on (i) developing an understanding of how the strategic use of technology enhances how students learn, do and communicate mathematics and (ii) evaluating technology-based instructional tools and associated activities. Note: This course does not count toward the University mathematics requirement or the upper-level course requirement in either the math minor or the other two math majors.
Prerequisite(s): M 222W . Corequisite(s): M 380  or M 381W .
