AFR 657 - Graduate Jazz Business Seminar

This course provides an in depth examination and analysis on the Jazz music business concerning its history, legal practices and techniques for success. Topics include generating Jazz performance contracts, website building, self-strategies, acquiring music copyrights, preparing technical riders and building a data base of Jazz venues, musicians, promoters and agents.
Prerequisite(s): Hartt graduate student.
