3credit(s) Advanced topics in the field of robotics including computer vision, autonomous navigation, machine learning, and robotic operating systems. Projects consist of team-based hands-on exercises where students design, build and program both virtual and physical robotic platforms. This course may be optionally chosen by undergraduates in lieu of ECE 449 with commensurate course objectives. No credit given to students who have completed ECE 449. Prerequisite(s): ECE 548 or ECE 448 or permission of instructor. Laboratory fee.
