0credit(s) This course introduces basic clinical and technical skills to students in the clinical environment. Students participate in a clinical setting and have the ability to collaborate and assist a certified clinician with basic clinical and technical skills. It is expected that students work a full 40-hour week for six weeks with the ABC-certified clinician to develop clinical, time-management, and patient- related skills. Students are expected to demonstrate professional behaviors in all interactions with patients, clients, families, caregivers, and other health professionals. (240 hours) Prerequisite(s): Prosthetics & orthotics major, MSPO 550 and MSPO 551. Internship fee.
