INT 721 - Art and Place Reconsidered 1

A location may consist of multiple geographies, narratives, histories, and cultures. This studio course explores how artists engage with a local community, and the ethics of this engagement. Students address the ways in which equity, intersectionality and social justice appear in their own work and that of others. This is the first course in a set of three required Art and Place, Reconsidered courses.
Prerequisite(s): Matriculation in the MFA Interdisciplinary Art program.
