DPT 516 - Foundations of Professional Practice II

This course continues discussions of a variety of topics related to professional practice that begin in DPT 515 . Students investigate issues impacting professional practice including: cultural competence, the APTA code of ethics and standards of practice, roles of health professionals, physical therapy practice settings and effective inter-professional communication.
Prerequisite(s): Physical therapy major and DPT 515 .
