RCP 353P - Clinical Practice III


3 credit(s) High Impact Practice: Internship
A laboratory/clinical practicum that enables the student to perfect methods and techniques learned in RCP 212 ,RCP 213 , RCP 214 , and RCP 215 . Students provide oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, IPPB therapy, chest physiotherapy, and airway care. In addition, students maintain patients on continuous mechanical ventilators and draw arterial blood samples.
Prerequisite(s): Respiratory therapy major and RCP 252 . Corequisite(s): RCP 214 .
Laboratory fee.
