MSP 383 - Montessori Self Awareness, Human Relations and Development

Montessori educators connect the young child to their immediate world through authentic experiences. The specific theory and exercises related to Practical Life and Perceptual Motor Development (Sensorial) will be presented and differentiated through supervised practice with didactic materials. The Practical Life content addressed promotes independent functioning, social grace, self-esteem and empathy among children between ages three and six years. The Perceptual Motor Development content informs how to guide the child to an intelligent and imaginative exploration of the world. Supervised practice hours and fieldwork hours are required for this course.
Prerequisite(s): MSF 280  and MSF 281 .
