NUR 455 - Leadership & Management of Care

This senior-level course examines leadership in the nursing profession, society, and the broader healthcare delivery system. Concepts and theories related to leadership, management, policy development and implementation are included. The course will explore individual and group accountability and the need for all nurses to participate in nursing leadership at the bedside, among inter-professional groups and in the community.
Prerequisite(s): Matriculation in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program; NUR 471 . Corequisite(s): NUR 465  and NUR 482W .
