DPT 719 - Comprehensive Lower Limb Loss Rehabilitation

This three week intensive course is designed to teach the evaluation skills and treatment techniques needed to help people with limb loss achieve maximal functional mobility. The course covers three major phases: pre-prosthetic, post-prosthetic, and high level training. The course builds on the modules received in DPT 619 and DPT 626, delving into the details that make rehabilitation in this population so specialized. Patient models and prosthetic components will be part of the experience.
Prerequisite(s): DPT III status in Physical Therapy program and permission of instructor.
