EDY 554 - Student Teaching: Nursery- Kindergarten

A supervised experience in a selected inclusion model, preschool or kindergarten setting. The student will develop competencies in observing/assessing children; planning, implementing, adapting, and evaluating instructional programs. This seminar is held concurrently with the early childhood student teaching experience and will provide the candidate with the opportunity to reflect on the experience. Each member of the seminar will be part of a professional learning community that will work collaboratively to support each other while building collective knowledge. This seminar will take place in face-to-face physical meetings as well as in virtual space through LiveText/Via and Blackboard.
