The course provides students with ways they can conceive, research, market, and disseminate their work. It is designed to help students think about research projects, trajectories and publication. It integrates online feedback with in-class activities crafted to help students make better sense of their writing and simultaneously to generate fresh ideas regarding new sources of data, and possible publication outlets. It addresses such considerations as selecting possible avenues open to the graduate student for publishing: conference papers, book reviews and chapters, print and ejournals.
