COM 505 - Multidisciplinary Projects


3 credit(s)
Over the course of the semester, students will conceive, research, plan, execute, and document a large scale multidisciplinary project including sound as one of the primary components. Projects may encompass live performance, electroacoustic compositions, sound art, video art, installation art, or internet / application-based art. A survey of multimedia works and readings will also be analyzed and discussed.
Prerequisite(s): COM 462 or COM 562  or permission of instructor.
Laboratory fee.
