This status is for students who may not currently be registered for academic courses required for the degree program, but are continuing work on additional degree requirements, including but not limited to studying for exams, preparing for recitals, and creating essay or lecture-recital proposals. Students work with their academic advisor to determine the appropriate credits that adequately reflect the amount of time and effort involved in completing the additional degree requirement.
