Practical introductory experience assisting in areas of dance production: administration, costume shop, lighting or sound crew, back-stage crew, stage manager’s assistant, audition assistant, rehearsal director’s assistant, dance studio care, videographer, as well as expanding arts literacy through viewing. Students select and/or are assigned areas of focus that support learning about the functioning of dance studios, companies, and productions.
Prerequisite(s): Dance performance or ballet pedagogy majors only.
