EDY 435 - Integrated Programs and Curriculum for Young Children


3 credit(s)
This course is designed to introduce the student to the most current developmentally appropriate programs and curriculum models for typically and atypically developing infants, toddlers and preschoolers. The best practices for working with young children (Division of Early Childhood/ Council for Exceptional Children) will be a focal point of the course. The importance of building partnerships with families and professional colleagues is emphasized (National Association for the Education of Young Children). Students will visit programs for this age group either virtually or in person in their community.
Prerequisite(s): EDY 301 .
