HTA 300 - Modernist Theatre Styles and Performance


3 credit(s)
This course will examine significant trends in modern and contemporary Anti-Realist Theater through discussion, studio work and performance presentations. Students will explore several aesthetic movements that took shape in the 19th and 20th centuries and the ways in which Stanislavski-based systems of acting technique must be adjusted in order to accommodate them. Open to University of Hartford students and actor training majors with third-year standing.
