RAD 230 - Radiographic Principles II

A continuing discussion of equipment operation, image acquisition and technical evaluation of the radiograph, with a focus on the factors affecting image quality. Includes an in-depth exploration into the technical principles of fluoroscopy, mobile radiography and exposure systems. The design and implementation of a quality control/quality assurance program are discussed. A laboratory component is included for the performance of experiments in radiographic imaging techniques within our energized x-ray facility.
Prerequisite(s): RAD 200.
